Meet Chef Andy
With 22 years of experience, Andy has seen his trajectory within the cooking business go from starting out as a butcher boy in the local meat shop, to learning the ropes as a commis chef, to cooking dishes for none other than Robert Plant himself! Andy’s is a true success story.
Like most chefs who go on to culinary mastery, Andy got the cooking bug from being around his mum and dad in the kitchen as a boy. Learning from his parents, Andy continued to stoke the fires of his curiosity, not just by helping out, but by taking the reins and churning out his own recipes in a matter of no time.
But it was when Andy took the plunge and moved to London that his culinary career really took off. Working in some of the finest gastro pubs and restuarants in the capital and winning Archant Times local chef of the year in 2008, Andy’s experience includes four AA Rosette restaurants and one Michelen Star standard establishment, as well as a Fulham FC, Harlequins Rugby Club and Wimbledon Tennis affiliated health club.
With an incredible wealth of experience under his belt, Andy took a major step and entered into corporate hospitality in 2009. Working at prestigious cites such as the London Stock Exchange, Andy had the opportunity to work alongside some truly outstanding consultant chefs while gaining invaluable experience in Michelin rated restaurants.
Andy’s time in corporate hospitality was highlighted by the immense pleasure of catering for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships boxes on Centre Court which included members of the Royal family!
In 2021, Andy became a private chef-taking his knowledge, creativity and expertise into more intimate settings. Able to craft menus based on the specific desires of his clients, Andy has fast become a chef in high demand, as his unique style of culinary class offers a private dining experience that cannot be missed.
